How do I back up my paintings?

Sign in to iCloud on your iPhone. Your paintings are then kept in your own private iCloud storage automatically. There is nothing else to turn on. Without iCloud, they live only on this iPhone.

I'm moving to a new iPhone.

Sign in to the same Apple ID and iCloud on the new iPhone, then install Tinkt. Your paintings will come back on their own. Give it a few minutes on Wi-Fi.

What does Export give me?

A CSV file with one row per day: date, color (a hex value like #85977A) and palette_slot (1–12, or empty for a colour you mixed). Days you didn't paint are left out. It opens the share sheet, so you can save it to Files, email it, or anything else. The app uploads nothing.

How do I erase everything?

Settings → "Erase all paintings". Hold the button to confirm. This removes your paintings from this iPhone and from iCloud. It can't be undone, so export first if you want a copy.

I forgot my app lock passcode.

App lock uses your iPhone's own Face ID, Touch ID or passcode. If Face ID or Touch ID doesn't work, enter your iPhone passcode — the one you use to unlock the phone.

My daily reminder isn't arriving.

Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Tinkt and check that notifications are allowed. Also check that a Focus mode isn't silencing them, and that the reminder is on in the app's Settings.

Is there a palette for colour vision differences?

Yes. Settings → "Color vision" offers palettes for red–green (deutan and protan) and blue–yellow colour vision, and a Monochrome one. Your paintings stay the same underneath; only how they are shown changes. Colours you mixed yourself are always shown exactly as you mixed them. Export always uses the standard palette colours.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
